• Basics of HTML and document structure; basic tags
• Using Notepad
• Exercise: Create, save, view, edit a simple HTML document
• Homework: Read Chapters 1, 2, 3, 8 and 9

DAY 2

• Review basics of Day 1 and introduce new tags
• Homework: Read Chapters 4 and 5

DAY 3

• Setup a free web account with Yahoo! / GeoCities
• More Tags

DAY 4

• Uploading web documents to a server
• Discussion -- Web Servers, URLs and FTP
• Introduction to HTML editors
