FINAL PROJECT 


PURPOSE

The purpose of the final project is to enable students to practice and demonstrate the skills they acquired during the course.


DESCRIPTION

Plan, design and build a functioning web site. Choose a topic of your own choice for this site. Topics may include: subjects of interest; hobbies; self-promotion; a fictitious company etc. The topic is not important. Your ability to match the subject to the overall design and to present content and divide the content is important. The site must be at least three levels deep and offer at least three topics off the main page [see schematic].

PRESENTATION

Students will make a brief presentation [not to exceed 10 minutes] of their site to describe the features of the site; design considerations and the planning that was undertaken to develop the site.

Week 4 Day 4


EVALUATION

Students will be evaluated on the ability to define the purpose of this site and to meet the objectives of this site; the site plan; user interface considerations; site map; style guide; and overall design considerations.
