Making this video was the most fun I had a school. Not just because I like video (I made three more in my time at VFS-Multimedia) but because the G I Blues are one of Vancouver's treasures. These journeyman musicians put more smiles on faces every week than any other band in town.

I didn't want to edit my video down to a meaningless 20 second Quicktime that would take 10 minutes to load on a 28.8 modem. This video is about Rockabilly Music and the character of the band.
An East Side Band for Hire
Setting the scene at Granville Island.

The Setup
Work hard, play harder.

The Interview
Past, Present, Future and The Infinite (from Mike).

All in a Day's Work
Who's havin' fun here?.

I decided to go with Shockwave and sync pictures from the video with Streaming Audio. The result is a kind of slide show set to music. They should all download in under one and a half minutes on a 28.8 modem.

All the music was recorded live under the bridge at Granville Island. Special thanks to David Keister (Live Recording) and Susan Sedman (Camera).
